Alongside academic publishing, I do popular science writing. Having worked as a contributing editor at Gazeta Wyborcza, I now frequently write for other outlets, such as the Times Literary Supplement, BBC Wildlife or Tygodnik Powszechny. My first popular science book, The Modern Bestiary, came out in 2022.

I am an alumna of the Templeton Foundation's Beyond the Ivory Tower writing workshop.
